West Loop — Bess & Loie is a handbag and accessory boutique in the West Loop, with accessories for both men and women. Handbags ($200-800) are by lesser known, “boutique” designers from across the country and the world, such as Hayden-Harnett (Brooklyn, Carrie Valentine (Los Angeles), and Jack Gomme (Paris) to name a few. There is a small assortment of men’s bags as well. You won’t see these bags walking down the street. The store features all things accessories, including hats, scarves, jewelry (for men and women), and men’s ties by local designer Lee Allison.
