Danielle Weingarten

Biography

River North — Designer Danielle Weingarten spent her childhood traveling between her home in the US and her mother’s native France. From an early age, she was exposed to the French culture, language, way of life and became enamored with the European lifestyle. This love of the simple European chique is what fueled her desire to work within the fashion industry upon graduation from Miami University with a dual degree in marketing and French. After interning for Calvin Klein in London, Danielle went to work in New York in the buying office of Macy’s East. Danielle soon made the switch from buying to designing to create a line that is ‘modern, sophisticated, luxurious’ and is relevant to both day and evening. SIAHOU couples Weingarten’s love of European street chique with evening sophistication.
