Biography

Russian native Yana German has created an elegant, feminine, classic look with a modern flair, but at the same time a progressive edge. Sleek lines, tailored silhouettes and luxurious fabrics truly define the collection.

Yana began her career within the arts arena as a ballerina and then as a ballroom dancer. While competing on the pro-am ballroom circuit she began to design outfits for herself and other dancers. Many of her designs were used in competitions featured on Channel 11 WTTW Chicago as well as various local and regional dance competitions. Realizing her passion to create beautiful clothing, Yana went to a small school in Pisa, Italy to study fashion design and the principals of pattern making. While studying in Italy she lived with an Italian family where she worked hard to learn the language.

The YANA Collection is designed for women wanting a dressy element to their wardrobe. However, the collection is versatile enough for many of the tops to also be paired with a pair of jeans to give a more causal look. Whether you’re a busine ss woman, out for a night on the town or just looking to make a statement through fashion, the YANA Collection is elegant, sophisticated and made to make a women feel sexy.

YG Design, LLC (“YG”) is a company that designs and sells women’s apparel and fashion accessories. The Company’s clothing label is the YANA Collection whose target market is women ages 25-55. YG manufactures these garments and accessories in the U.S. YG also makes their apparel available to select boutiques and name-brand department stores, and to personal clients. YANA has received recognition for excellence in design from many organizations including City of Chicago
