Born and raised in Ohio, Constance Marie Daniel began tickling the ivories at age five. By age 16, she had become a local celebrity after winning several piano competitions. She also garnered numerous awards for her original paintings often displayed in museums and galleries in Ohio.
Constance’s love of the visual and performing arts helped her obtain several academic scholarships, providing her the opportunity to earn two cum laude Bachelor degrees from The Ohio State University and a Masters in Public Affairs Reporting. She moved to Chicago with the intention of becoming a journalist. But her love of design and fashion took her from the world of PR to a short stint at the Magnificent Mile’s Neiman Marcus while freelance writing for national syndicates and Fortune 500 companies.
What started out as a hobby to compliment her new Neiman’s wardrobe, soon emerged into a promising jewelry business, when friends and clients started purchasing the pieces, handcrafted with gold and semi-precious gems, right off her neck. She knew then she had stumbled onto something good. Her love of music inspires the collections; and the rest, as they say, is history.
