Biography

River North — Leber Jeweler Inc is proud to be the first jewelry store dedicated to socially-conscious and eco- friendly fine jewelry. Since the 1990s, Joanne and Brian Leber have been designing our Earthwise Jewelry® Collection featuring Canadian diamonds, fairly traded gemstones, and recycled gold and platinum, thus offering alternatives to items made with conflict diamonds, unfair labor practices, and environmentally damaging mining.

As a third-generation jeweler established in 1921, we offer unmatched technical expertise and unique custom jewelry design. Brian, certified by the American Gem Society and the Gemological Institute of America, combines his knowledge of gemstones, jewelry making, art, and music, while Joanne uses her visual arts degrees to sketch and design their Earthwise Jewelry® Collection.

Equally important, we are dedicated to work towards a better world through direct involvement in a wide number of initiatives relating to human rights and the environment. Each year we commit a significant amount of time and financial resources towards advocacy efforts locally, nationally, and abroad in support of developmental projects throughout the globe.
