Biography

Edgewater — Tongue Tied spins new life into old ties with a line of women’s accessories that range from fancy obi-style sashes, stoles and “truffled” scarves, to functional cell phone slings and laptop carriers. This line also includes faux foos, an elegant but not too serious collection of chokers, collars and cuffs created from ties that hail from houses such as Halston, St. Laurent and Pucci. Owner, Brooke Costello, established her business in 2006 with a single design and has expanded into a head to toe enterprise with a mission to “lessen the landfills, produce locally, and save ties.
